Terms of Use

Who these terms apply to

They apply to everyone who uses PomoClass, signed in or not, on any platform. You must be at least 13 years old. If you use the iOS app, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy of it, and for the iOS app that agreement prevails wherever it conflicts with these terms.

What PomoClass does

PomoClass runs Pomodoro focus sessions and breaks, records the sessions you complete, links them to the tasks and groups you create, and shows your history as statistics. Some features are free and some are part of PomoClass Pro. As the product develops we add, change and occasionally remove features.

Your account

You can use the timer without an account, but syncing across devices, statistics and Pro require one. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your e-mail and sign-in method secure. Give accurate information, do not use anyone else's account, and do not let anyone else use yours.

PomoClass Pro subscriptions

Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks the full statistics history, the AI coach and other Pro features. These terms apply to it:

• Prices are shown before you confirm, in your local currency where we support it, and always with the total you will be charged for the period.
• Payment is taken by the store you buy through: Apple for purchases made in the iOS app, Google Play for Android, and Lemon Squeezy on the website. We never see your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price then in force, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. For purchases made in the iOS app, your Apple Account is charged when you confirm the purchase and again at each renewal.
• You can cancel at any time: in your App Store account settings on iOS, in Google Play on Android, or through the billing portal linked in your profile for purchases made on the website. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you have already paid for ends.
• Refunds for purchases made in the iOS app are handled by Apple under its own policy and we cannot issue them. For purchases made on the website, write to info@pomoclass.com.

Right of withdrawal

Pro begins the moment your purchase is confirmed. By completing the purchase you expressly ask us to start the service immediately and you acknowledge that, once it has started, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal for that period — including the 14-day right that applies to digital services in the European Union and the equivalent right for distance contracts under Turkish law. We therefore do not refund a period that has already begun: cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. Where the law of the country you live in gives you a withdrawal right that cannot be waived, that right still applies. Purchases made in the iOS and Android apps are a separate matter — Apple and Google decide refunds under their own policies and may grant one regardless of this section.

Fair use

Use PomoClass for your own studying and work. Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, do not reverse-engineer or copy it, do not harvest other people's data from it, and do not use it for anything unlawful or to harass other users through features such as friends. We may suspend accounts that do these things.

The AI coach

The AI coach generates suggestions from your session history and task titles, which are sent to OpenAI so a response can be produced. It is a study aid, not professional, medical or psychological advice, and it can be wrong. Use your own judgement before acting on it.

What you create

Your tasks, groups, sessions and settings remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store this content, process it, and show it back to you and, where you choose to share it, to the friends you connect with. We do not sell it and we do not use it to advertise to other people.

Availability

We work to keep PomoClass running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. Maintenance, outages at our providers and changes to the product can interrupt it. Keep anything you cannot afford to lose recorded somewhere else as well.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using PomoClass at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to info@pomoclass.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we are legally required to close. If we close your account without cause while you have paid time remaining, we will refund the unused part where the store allows it.

Limits

PomoClass is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost work or lost study time, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be waived under the consumer law where you live. These limits do not apply to loss we cause by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor to liability for death or personal injury, which cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. If you are a consumer this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts there.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will say so in the app when the change is significant. Continuing to use PomoClass after a change means you accept the new terms.
