How the widget works
Long break every 4 sessions
After four focus sessions the widget switches to your long break on its own, then back to focus.
Sound after the first click
Browsers only allow sound once you've clicked inside the page. Press Start once and a soft chime plays at the end of every session.
Settings live in the link
There's nothing to log into. Your durations, theme and language are part of the link, so every widget you embed keeps its own setup.

Does the timer keep running when the tab is in the background?
Yes. The countdown is based on real clock time, so it stays accurate even when the browser throttles background tabs, and it plays a gentle chime when a session ends.
How do I add a Pomodoro timer to Notion?
Customize the timer on this page and click "Copy link". In Notion, type /embed on any page, paste the link and click "Embed link". Drag the corners to resize it — it takes about 30 seconds and works on free Notion plans.
Why does Notion show a link instead of the timer?
When you paste the link directly into a page, Notion asks how to show it — choose "Embed" rather than "Bookmark" or "Mention". You can also start with the /embed block, which always creates a live widget.
Why don't I hear the chime?
Browsers block sound until you click inside the page. Press Start in the widget once and the chime will play at the end of each session. If you still hear nothing, check that the browser tab and your device aren't muted.
Can I use different timers on different pages?
Yes. Each link carries its own settings, so you can embed a 50/10 timer on your work page and a 25/5 timer on your study page.
