Why plan focus sessions in advance?
Most timers are reactive: they count what you already did. A plan works the other way round — you commit to a number first, and the day is measured against that commitment. That small reversal is what turns 'I should study more' into something you can actually pass or fail.
A decision made once
Deciding 'six sessions on Tuesday' on Sunday costs you one decision. Deciding it again every morning costs you seven — and mornings are when willpower is thinnest.
Split by subject
A goal of 'six sessions' hides which subject you're avoiding. Four for maths and two for history makes the avoidance visible before the week does.
Visible while you work
Today's goal sits next to the timer and fills as you finish sessions. You never have to open a second screen to know where you stand.
Honest by design
Past days can't be edited. A goal you could lower afterwards wouldn't mean anything — so the record of what you planned stays exactly as you planned it.
How to plan your study week
- 1
Open the goal calendar
Go to the calendar and pick a day. On the free plan you can plan today and tomorrow; Pro opens any upcoming day.
- 2
Set a number per subject
Add each subject and the number of focus sessions you'll give it. The daily total adds up as you go, in sessions and approximate hours.
- 3
Work the plan
Start the timer as usual. Every completed session counts toward that day's goal automatically — nothing extra to log.
- 4
Read the week back
The calendar shows which days you hit and which you missed, so the next week's plan is based on what actually happened rather than what you hoped.

What's in the study planner
Everything below is part of PomoClass today. Planning today and tomorrow is free; the rest of the calendar is part of Pro.
Per-subject daily goals
Set a separate session target for each subject or class on any given day, with the daily total calculated for you in sessions and approximate hours.
Today's goal beside the timer
A compact card shows the target, how many sessions are done and how many are left, and it updates the moment a session completes.
Plan ahead, up to a year
Free covers today and tomorrow. Pro lets you lay out an exam month or a whole term in one sitting and see the full history behind you.
Reminders on mobile
The mobile app can remind you locally about the day's goal, so a plan you made on Sunday doesn't quietly disappear by Wednesday.
Free and Pro, plainly
Free: plan today and tomorrow, per subject, with the goal card next to the timer and completed sessions counted automatically.
Pro: plan any day up to a year ahead, see your full goal history, plus everything else in Pro.

Study planner — questions people ask
What is a study planner?
A study planner is a schedule where you decide in advance how much studying you'll do on each day, rather than recording it afterwards. In PomoClass a plan is expressed in focus sessions — for example four sessions of maths and two of history on Tuesday — and the timer counts your completed sessions against that number automatically.
How many focus sessions should I plan per day?
A 25-minute session plus a short break takes about half an hour, so four sessions is roughly two hours of focused work. Most people starting out overestimate: planning three or four a day and actually hitting them beats planning ten and missing. Raise the number only after a full week where you finished what you planned.
Can I plan study goals for future days?
Yes. On the free plan you can set goals for today and tomorrow. Pro opens any upcoming day up to a year ahead, which is what you want when you're laying out an exam period or a whole term in one sitting.
Can I change a goal after the day has passed?
No, and that's deliberate. Past days are locked from editing because a goal you could lower afterwards wouldn't mean anything. You can still look back at any past day and see what you planned and what you actually did.
Is the study planner free?
Planning today and tomorrow is free, including per-subject goals, the goal card next to the timer and automatic counting of completed sessions. Planning further ahead and seeing your full goal history are part of Pro.
Do I need to download anything?
No. PomoClass runs in the browser and the timer works without an account. You need a free account for the goal calendar itself, because your plan has to be saved somewhere.
