PomoClass is a focus timer for the web, Android and iOS. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to info@pomoclass.com.
What we collect
- Account details — your e-mail address and name, passed to us by Google or Apple when you sign in. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your address, we only ever see the private relay address Apple generates.
- What you create in the app — your tasks, classes, completed focus sessions and timer settings.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as which platform and app version you are using, and your time zone so that daily statistics match your day rather than ours.
- If you use PomoClass without an account, your sessions stay on your device and never reach our servers.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only where the service cannot work otherwise:
- Google and Apple, when you sign in, to confirm that the account is yours.
- OpenAI, when you use the AI coach or AI chat: the relevant task titles and session statistics are sent so a response can be generated. Your name and e-mail address are not sent.
- Lemon Squeezy, if you buy PomoClass Pro. They handle the payment; we never see your card details.
- Hosting, database and e-mail delivery providers that store or transmit this data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions.
How we use it
We use this data to run the service: to keep your sessions and statistics available on every device you sign in from, to show your streaks and reports, to send the e-mails you have opted into, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data.
Where your data is processed
Our providers run servers in the European Union and the United States, so your data may be processed in either. We work only with providers that commit to protecting it under recognised safeguards.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile, in the app or on the web. Access ends immediately and your e-mail address and name are removed from our systems straight away; everything else, including your tasks and session history, is permanently deleted within 30 days. The short delay is there so an account deleted by mistake can still be recovered.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can stop non-essential e-mails at any time through the unsubscribe link in them. Write to info@pomoclass.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or Türkiye and our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are necessary for signing in and for remembering preferences such as your language. We also collect aggregated usage statistics that show how the product is used overall. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other sites or apps.
Children
PomoClass is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will say so in the app when the change is significant.
